Eater PDX’s Brooke Jackson-Glidden Wins James Beard Media Award

The 2023 James Beard Basis Media Awards happened on June third in Chicago, and Eater Portland’s Brooke Jackson-Glidden received the Jonathan Gold Native Voice Award. The award acknowledges, in accordance with the Beards, “the work of a person who engages readers by enterprising meals and eating protection, and whose work shows versatility in type, reminiscent of opinions, profiles, cooking, fast hits, and arduous information reporting.”

Jackson-Glidden, who has helmed Eater Portland since 2018, was acknowledged for her modifying and written work on the positioning, with options on native cooks and restaurant figures like meals cart proprietor Samira Mohamed in addition to extra private writing, together with a highlight on queer espresso store Both/Or.
