WhatsApp allows users to share their profile via QR code. Here’s how to create a WhatsApp profile QR code.
Instant messaging app WhatsApp, is reportedly testing a new feature that will allow users to share their profiles via URL on social networking sites. The new feature has been spotted in the beta update 184.108.40.206 versions for android users. As of now, WhatsApp allows its users to set up a QR code to connect people without sharing their mobile number. However, as per the report shared by WhatsApp tracker WABetaInfo, the new update will replace the QR Code tab with a new share icon allowing users to create a link for their profile and chat via a single tap. The new feature icon will be visible next to the profile picture on the settings tab. This will allow other people to open your profile right within their WhatsApp application and quickly start a chat with you, but without having your number.
