A new Realme GT 2 India variant leak has divulged the upcoming smartphone’s color options, memory, and storage configurations before launch. Realme will be launching the GT 2 smartphone in India in the coming days. Realme hinted at the phone’s impending launch in India at the Realme GT 2 Pro launch event. To recall, the Shenzhen-based smartphone manufacturer launched the Realme GT 2 series in its home country first. The phone hit the store shelves in multiple other regions outside China in February 2022, at the MWC 2022.
Aside from this, the Realme GT Neo 3 will go official in India on April 29 during an offline event. However, details about the Realme GT 2 smartphone’s exact launch date in India are still scarce. Nevertheless, it is likely to launch in the country in the coming days. Taking to his Twitter account, noted leaker Mukul Sharma has shed light on the Realme GT 2 India variant’s key details. In his latest tweet, the tipster has revealed the Realme GT 2 smartphone’s color options, memory, and storage configurations.

First off, Mukul claims that the vanilla variant of the Realme GT 2 will be available in three color options. Moreover, he suggests that there will be two RAM and storage options available for the vanilla model. According to Mukul, the Realme GT 2 will be up for grabs in two configurations. These include a base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The highest-end model will ship with 12GB of RAM and offer a hearty 256GB of internal storage capacity. Furthermore, the phone could come in Paper Green, Steel Black, and Paper White color options.

The Realme GT 2 sports a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the screen offers 1300 nits of peak brightness, and an impressive contrast ratio of 5,000,000: 1. Aside from this, it has a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 on top for additional protection. The rear panel uses paper design technology, just like the Realme GT 2 Pro. Under the hood, the phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, which is paired with up to 12GB of RAM. Also, the handset comes with up to 256GB of onboard storage capacity.
In the photography department, the handset houses three cameras on the back featuring a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera. Aside from this, the rear camera setup includes a 119-degree ultra-wide lens, as well as a macro lens. Upfront, the phone has a 16MP shooter, which sits inside the hole-punch cutout on the display.
