After the discharge of Jawan on September 7, the staff held a post-release press convention on September 15 in Mumbai. It was attended by the movie’s complete staff together with Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Riddhi Dogra, Sanya Malhotra, and others. However, Nayanthara, Priyamani, and Girija Oak could not attend the convention. Effectively, the explanation why Nayanthara could not attend the occasion was due to her mom’s birthday in Chennai.
